A master tool provides editable access to the ECU or TCU file. A slave tool is cryptographically linked to another provider and normally sends the file elsewhere for processing.

Can engine and gearbox tuning be completed together?

Yes, where the vehicle and controllers are supported. Matching ECU and TCU torque strategies can produce a more coherent result than treating them separately.

Does AutoLab tune Stage 3 and engine-converted vehicles?

Yes, where the engine management, hardware and required control strategy are supported. These vehicles require individual assessment, logging and calibration development rather than an off-the-shelf Stage file.
