Stage 1 ECU Remapping
More usable performance from a suitable standard vehicle.
Explore Stage 1 ECU RemappingYour hardware specification comes first. Stage 2 Tuning is a discussion about matching supported engine software to an appropriately modified vehicle, rather than choosing a universal package.
Owners with relevant intake, cooling or other supporting upgrades who want the software and hardware considered as one setup. If you are still planning the build, talk to us before buying parts.
Send the full parts list, fuel used, current software, engine and gearbox details. Requirements differ by engine and intended use; an intercooler or intake alone does not automatically define a Stage 2 specification. Exhaust and emissions equipment must be assessed for the intended use and applicable requirements.
We review the specification and existing faults, discuss any preparation needed and confirm software support. Relevant live data and road logging inform verification where appropriate. There is no in-house dyno at AutoLab, and stage labels do not prove a measured power output.
No emissions-system removal is presented as a standard requirement. We do not promise the same gains for different builds. Hardware condition, fuel and thermal limits affect what is appropriate.
Preparing your vehicle for remappingSpeak to us first with the exact vehicle and goal. A parts list can then be assessed before you commit to a particular calibration.
No. The label is a shorthand, not a fixed engineering specification. The actual hardware and software support decide the work.
Use our existing Stage 3/bespoke or engine-conversion pages and send the complete build specification.
